British Activists Participate in National Protest Against Solar Power Plants

Recently, participants in the UK event participated in a protest march against the plan to install thousands of solar panels on high-quality agricultural land.

The Clayden Solar Action Group organized this event in the surrounding areas of Winslow and Clayden in Buckinghamshire as part of Sunday's National Community Walk Day, with the aim of highlighting rural solar farm development issues.

The developer claims that the Rosfield solar farm will provide sufficient clean energy to meet the electricity needs of over 57000 households, with an expected lifespan of 40 years.

Conservative Buckinghamshire MP Greg Smith described the plan as an inefficient technology that destroys rural areas and undermines our food security.

The International Energy Network has learned that the Botolf Kreiden parade is one of 25 nationwide protests against the construction of solar power plants, with other marches planned in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, and Bedfordshire.
