Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daly Juma, announced at the 67th meeting of the CIS Electricity Council in Dushanbe that Tajikistan will integrate its northern power grid into the Central Asian Unified Power Grid by the first half of 2026.
The southern power grid was already connected in June 2024. The Minister emphasized that fully integrating Tajikistan's power system into the Central Asian Unified Power Grid remains one of the top priorities for the Tajik power sector.
