The 4th Global Green Goal Partners 2030 Summit Was Held in Hanoi, Vietnam

From the 16th to the 17th, the fourth Global Green Goal Partnership 2030 (P4G) Summit was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. Guo Fang, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, led a delegation to attend related activities.

 

At the high-level plenary meeting of the summit, China introduced China's major measures and latest progress in recent years to develop green productivity, coordinate industrial structure adjustment, pollution control, ecological protection, and respond to climate change to promote green transformation. At the same time, it was stated that in the current situation where the uncertainty of green and low-carbon policies in other major economies in the world is increasing, China will continue to unswervingly follow the path of ecological priority, conservation and intensive, green and low-carbon development, accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of industrial structure, improve the green and low-carbon development mechanism, accelerate scientific and technological innovation, strengthen international cooperation on climate action and green development, and promote the construction of a fair, reasonable, cooperative and win-win global environment and climate governance system.

 

During the stay in Vietnam, China also visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam and its subordinate Northern Environmental Monitoring Center to exchange in-depth views on issues such as air pollution prevention and control and climate change response.

 

The Global Partnership for Green Goals 2030 (P4G) is an initiative jointly launched by the governments of Denmark, the Netherlands and other countries and institutions such as the Global Green Growth Institute in 2018, aiming to promote the building of a large-scale public-private partnership and accelerate global green growth. The theme of this summit is "Global Partnership for Inclusive, Sustainable, Innovative and People-centered Green Transformation".
