The Tehran Times recently reported that Iranian President Pezerhizzian said at the 9th Iran Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (IRANREC2025) in Tehran that the government has begun to expand its renewable energy strategy and continues to pay regular attention to it at daily and weekly government meetings.
He stressed the need to replace electricity with natural gas in the heating sector and said that precise planning is being carried out in all aspects, including the production and import of solar panels, the equipment of power plants, the transformation of refrigeration and heating equipment production lines, and construction projects, to improve energy efficiency.
