Three-phase motor wiring method:
The first is the star (Y) connection method, the head or tail end of the three-phase stator winding inside the motor is connected, and the other three phases are respectively connected to the U.V.W three-phase alternating current for operation, which is suitable for three-kilowatt and below three-phase asynchronous induction motors.
The second is the triangle (△) connection method, ABCO is the star connection method, 0 is the neutral point, if the three points ABC are connected to a 380-volt three-phase power supply, the voltage on the three windings AO/BO/CO is 220 volts. The triangle formed by ABC is
the delta connection method. If the three points ABC are loaded with the same three-phase power, the voltage on the three windings AC/AB/BC is 380 volts.
The voltage between each phase line (live wire) and the neutral line (zero line) is called the phase voltage, and its effective value is represented by UA, UB, and UC; the voltage between the phase lines is called the line voltage, and its effective value is represented by UAB, UBC, and UCA. Because the three coils of the three-phase AC power supply generate AC voltages with a phase difference of 120°, when the three coils are connected in a star shape, the line voltage is equal to the phase voltage.
