At around 16:05 local time on May 2, several areas of Bali, an Indonesian resort, were without power, and the government is currently working to restore power services.
Bali Airport said on social media that the airport was also affected by the power outage, but flights in and out were still continuing. Indonesia's national utility company PLN said they were investigating the cause of the power outage and were restoring power connections. There are reports that the power outage was caused by a fault in the submarine cable.
