The First Solid Waste Cogeneration EPC Project in Europe Signed By A Chinese Company Has Come Into Effect

Recently, the industrial cogeneration clean energy project for an aluminum plant in Zvonnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, undertaken by Orient International, was officially signed and came into effect.

This project is the first solid waste cogeneration EPC project undertaken by a Chinese company in Europe. The successful signing and entry into force of this project represents a significant step forward in enhancing the company's localization efforts in Europe, following the establishment of its European Regional Operations Center in September of this year. It also lays a solid foundation for the group's products to "go global" and achieve high-quality development in the European region.

The project utilizes "Orient-made" industrial-grade high-efficiency steam turbine generator sets, designed to use both industrial derivative fuels and municipal solid waste, meeting the latest EU emission standards, and achieving efficient and clean utilization of solid waste resources and energy.

Upon completion, the project will provide local businesses with stable and efficient electricity and clean heat, significantly optimizing the existing energy supply structure, effectively improving regional waste treatment capacity, bringing significant environmental benefits to the region, and contributing to its sustainable development.
